Kalkan enjoys a long Mediterranean season, making it a great destination almost all year round. From mild spring walks among blooming hills to sun-soaked summer beach days, each season has something special to offer.
Spring is ideal for exploring nature and history. Daytime temperatures range from 17–22°C, often with fresh green landscapes and the occasional short shower. Perfect for walking holidays, historic site visits, and villa stays before the peak season.
May marks the beginning of summer, with temperatures gradually rising into the mid to high 20s, reaching 30°C by June. Everything starts to open — shops, beach clubs, boat tours. It’s one of the best times to visit for pleasant warmth without peak crowds.
This is Kalkan’s hottest and liveliest season, with temperatures regularly in the mid to high 30s. The sea is warm, the beach clubs are in full swing, and rooftop restaurants are buzzing. Ideal for those seeking a vibrant, hot summer holiday.
September mirrors June’s climate, with highs in the upper 20s. October is similar to May — warm but cooler at night. Sea and pool temperatures remain high, perfect for swimming and relaxing without the intense heat of July/August.
Kalkan winters are mild compared to much of Europe, with daytime highs in the mid to low 20s in November and December. Rain is more likely in January and early February, but sunshine still appears regularly. Fewer tourists means peace and quiet — but some shops, restaurants, and beach clubs may be closed.
