Turkish Lira is the currency of Turkey, although sterling, dollar and euro are also widely accepted, please note however that your change will always be in Turkish Lira.
In general, you will find better rates of exchange locally in Kalkan than at home. We recommend you bring a small amount of TL cash and exchange your home currency as and when you need it throughout your stay.
Money can be exchanged at local banks (open Monday to Friday), the Post Office (PTT), or at a number of local shopkeepers advertising money change.
